For every $1.00 you spend at a locally owned business, $0.45 stays in the local economy, creating jobs and expanding the city's tax base.-courtesy of the city of Saco, Maine
For every $1.00 spent at a national chain or franchise store, only $0.14 remains in the community.
I don't know about you, but buying local sounds good to me! Come visit our small business this Saturday, June 25 at the Saco Spirit Sidewalk Arts Festival.
Our booth will be located in the middle of Pepperell Square on the train station end of Main Street. This will be our last show close to home for the next few weeks.
Also, I have been trying unsuccessfully to upload pictures of our booth. Blogger is giving me a hard time, so I have uploaded an album to our Tote Road Facebook Page.
